Celebrate 60 years of Grape Growing in Padthaway
Friday 24th May 2024 6.30pm for 7.00pm start at Padthaway Estate
Join us to celebrate 60 years of Grape Growing in Padthaway, a presentation of the Padthaway Vintage Star and a chat with some local legends.
FREE buses will be available to provide return transport to Naracoorte and Padthaway surrounding areas (bookings essential).
Please send nominations for Vintage Star, a person who has gone above and beyond this season, or someone who brings a little bit of extra enthusiasm to your team, to Jacqui by 1st May 2024.
Cost: $85 per head (payment on invoice). Includes a 2-course meal with a shared dessert platter by Renae and B Sweet. All refreshments will be provided.

Padthaway is located at the northern entrance to the Limestone Coast region of South Australia.

There are now in excess of 28 vignerons in our region growing grapes for their own regionally branded labels and for sale to other wine companies.

Viticulture
Of the 3884 hectares in the region, Shiraz is the most widely planted variety with approximately 1,250 hectares closely followed by Cabernet Sauvignon with over 1,000 hectares and then Chardonnay with 783 hectares…
